RUAF: Resource Centers on Urban Agriculture and Food Security

RUAF has featured the Urban L.A.C.E. project in the most recent issue of their magazine.

 

“Cities have the capability of providing something for everybody, only because, and only when, they are created by everybody.” Jane Jacobs Over the course of the last two years, the “Urban L.A.C.E: Local Agroforestry Collective Engagement” project has explored the potential of agroforestry to create a new type of infrastructure in rapidly developing urban areas in Porto Alegre, the capital of the state of Rio Grande do Sul at the southern tip of Brazil.”
